Does the government pay travelling allowances for those who work in london but live outside of it?

I live in Kent and travel to london every weekday, the yearly pass is around £3000 which puts a big wedge in my earnings, is there any way i can get around this and the government pay for my travel?

  1. Sorry, no - travel to work is not tax deductable and there are no government grants.
