  1. It is his stepdad now. I think it would be a nice thing to do! I'm gonna be giving my ex stepdad one.


  2. Sure, why not.  If you can afford it; get one for him.  It will only make the new husband feel more like a part of the family and will make your mother happy.  Trust me women love "family togetherness".  

  3. I would, especially if the real dad isn't going to be there to be offended.  Personally I would do it either way.

  4. My future husband and I both have two sets of remarried parents. That 8 people considered "parents" in our wedding party. We will likely get all of them flowers even though my dad's new wife has only been in the family for a few months.  

  5. It's not required, but it would certainly be a nice gesture, especially if he's a significant person in his stepson's life.

  7. I think the rule of thumb is whoever is wearing a tux gets a boutineer.

  8. If you want to honor him that way, and the groom's mom thinks it would be appropriate, then yes, he should wear a buttoniere.
