Question:

Does the group owner controls as to which messages can be posted or not? Is there a way to get around it?

I have an axe to grind about the group owner and I wanted to let every group member to know the issue. I posted a scathing message against him once and it was posted. The next time around, I don't see any of my messages posted anymore. I suspect he's systematically "weeding me out" to keep the lid on the issue at hand. I just ant to know if there is a way around it.

  1. There are devious ways to thwart any system. Is it worth it?

Are you operating within good netiquette form?

The group owner is called "OWNER" because it's their group.

The moderators exercise some control, but that's at the pleasure of the owner... If you don't like how they do things, you can start your own group. If so, be clear about the rules; that's critical to a useful and enjoyable experience for all.

  2. there is no way around it. scathing messages or attacks is inappropriate in about any group, and you're probably moderated and soon to be banned for such activity. most owners would prevent such posts from entering the group.

I'd suggest such scathing be sent directly to the owner and not include the whole group if you don't want to be banned. sorry
