Does the guitar hero 3 ps2 controller associate with ps2 rock band?

i got guitar hero 3's bundle, with the guitar controller. now my friend loaned me rock band while he's away to a vacation. besides my ps2 isn't currently with me so i was wondering if the PS2 guitar hero 3 controller would associate with rock band??

  1. yep yep yep yep yep yep cause i did that on xbox 360 {same thing} it work perfecly but the rock band guitar cant work for guitar hero 3


  2. Yes it does but, The Rock Band controller will not be compatible with Guitar Hero 3
