  1. you might have to be a little bit more elaborite.

it does work though.  the cost of healthcare is high and gets higher each year, therefore the cost of insurance goes up.  health insurance is there to cover what is medically necessary.

  2. Not so much..it's pretty messed up that the more people the screener (for the insurance co.) denies the bigger bonus they receive..i declare conflict of interest, or something along those lines that actually applies

  3. Not anymore. Too many make money by denying services instead of making care available. The whole system must be rebuilt.

  4. It works.  My wife just got a hospital bill for $26000 yesterday and we owe about $300 of it.  She also takes $850 of meds a month and we pay $90.  That's a darn deal.

  5. Yes, it works.   Most people (85% of Americans) have some coverage.   Half of the remaining Americans, don't want it.   And, there is a system in place to provide healthcare insurance for the very poor, the children, and the elderly.

It's not perfect, but it's the best system in the world.  People who tout all the "flaws" in this system, well, they're comparing to other systems with many of the same flaws - or worse flaws.  And, most of the "government health care" systems are on the verge of imploding - even with the extremely heavy taxation rates paid by the subjects/citizens.
