  1. yea they do.go on youtube and watch ' Free jumping"

im pretty sure if you just sat on half of those showjumpers and didnt interfere with them they would do a better job.

  2. I think the horse does it by itself coz horses are smart enough to know if they dont jump they'll run into a fence/jump, but the rider helps so it doesnt go around or stop? im not sure though so dont fully believe what i say

  3. The rider pulls the reins on the horse as the horse is jumping, the horse does know when to jump but the rider gives it a little lift.

  4. so for the rider who weigh less who has the edge if they have the same good horse

  5. The horse knows and the rider helps him.

  6. the knows how to jump, it takes a while for it to learn how to do it properly but practice makes perfect.  its the same as you knowing how to jump over something, no-one made you do it you just sort learnt by yourself. the rider does not make the horse do it, they should just sit still ontop of the horse and go with the movement allowing some freedom in the reins to let the horse stretch over the jump, but not too much so as to loose contact on landing.
