I was just wondering, does the HUGE herd of cicadas, not the annual ones, come to all the U.S.A. states eventually? Or just certain states?

  1. Generally, the 17-year cicadas are distributed more in the northern states of the eastern United States, while the 13-year cicadas occur in the southern states

  2. Yes. They are global in distribution.

  4. Not all.  They mostly affect the Midwest and part of the East... We (I live in Chicago) got them last year, and it didn't even hit all of Illinois.

Just certain spots, I s'pose.  Those things were crazy.
