  1. In general, no.  Computers and other inanimate objects are not generally affected by humidity or humidex.

  2. Depends on the level of humidity.

100% humidity means you are submerging your computer in a vat of water. This is generally not recomend practice. The water makes the picture blurry.

  3. it could affect your computer because humidity is the percentage of water vapor in the air....... which could case water droplets to form.................

  4. Yes,

High humidity can make it easier for electrical arcs.  More importantly if their is a lot of humidity and the air is suddenly cooled then water vapor will condense out of the air and water dropplets (dew) will form.  If it does on a computer circuit board then you can forget that computer ever running again.

Most computers run better when cooler, the speed of electrical transmission increases.  Super computers are typically cooled with liquid nitrogen to get them super cool.  When you create a cooling unit for your computer then you have to watch out that the outside humid air doesn't enter the case and let water vapor condense on its circuits.  So this creates a problem with ventilation.  You need a dehumidifier.

Objects may not care about humidity but water is a great conductor and electricty cares about that a great deal.  Water condesation on the circuit board of a computer is a sure fire way to compromise and eventually kill it.
