Does the iPod Touch work with the old universal dock.

So i have an old universal dock that I got for my iPod Video when that generation was released, and I'm thinking of getting an iPod touch. All the pictures I have seen of the iTouch in a dock are of the newer universal dock.

is it any different or will the dock adapter with the iTouch work?

ps- is the iPod touch a good investment? I've had my iPod for almost 3 years now. I have a lot of music so I would need to buy the 32 gb.

thanks!

  1. I am looking into buying the ITouch also. Some of my friends have one and they tell me they love it.

  2. the dock is the same dont worry. i had to decide what kindof ipod that i wanted and like you i have tons of music. instead of paying $200 extra i just bought the ipod classic video. its about having easy access to lots of music and enough space for lots of music for me, not about what my mp3 player looks like. so i would just go for an upgade with the ipod classic. I got the 80 gb classic and i love it!

  3. Yes it will fit the old docks....and yes it is a good investment! iPod touches are amazing!

  4. I would wait, apple has said new prducts are coming around september, and i'm betting one of them is a redesigned/cheaper ipod touch.
