today i had an interview with staples

they were very nice

one woman and one man

i looked pro and was very nice and answered all my questions correctly

after the whole thing was done the man said that they still have interviews to do that day and he said i was very smart during the questions by the way haha

and then when i left, he said hopefully we will talk to you soon

(meaning that they will call and let me know if i got the job)

so do you think i got it?

they only had to interview 4 or 5 more ppl cause i saw the papers

so do you think that they determine it also?

  1. show you have prior experience.

remember they are always looking for people that may help their company grow.

    wish you luck.

  2. To be an equal opportunity employer, they have to interview everyone.  Then they will discuss the strengths of each candidate.  There may or may not be someone higher up than them that will make the ultimate decision.  Different employers look for different things, but by the way he said "Hopefully we'll be talking to you soon", it sounds like you have a pretty good chance.  Good luck!

  3. Yes they determine it. They are either Human Resourcees or Managers with hiring power. I hope you got it, but with a place like staples it's a toss up. I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket, and apply to a lot more places. Pound the pavement if you have to; a lot of companies are tight right now in this economy. So, dont get discouraged, keep your head up, and you will land something. Have a few prospects to choose from and dont just wait for the golden goose.

  4. The people who interview you typically are the ones that decide who should be hired.

As to if you will be or not, no one knows except the interviewers.
