"makes everyone dumber in the process" erm... we right now are in a website where people from all around the world share knowledge on every topic like... EVER!

and about stuff like TV being addicting... well if there would be something better to do or something more interesting...

The Invention of the comp actually makes life easier. We can order online, talk to others,definatlly more possibilities. The only negative fact that technology has on us..is that we seem to get lazier as it evolves.
