Does the ipod 3rd gen. work with itunes 7.7?

i updated my itunes today to 7.7 and i plugged my ipod 3rd gen. in and it said something about it working with only 7.4 and higher...

...idk what to do. lol. help?

update again cuz u have something lower than 7.4, sometimes updates don't work right away. also u may need to update ur software on the ipod

1) Restart your computer.

2) Reset your iPod (it won't delete your songs)

   - Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

   - Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds.

3) If that doesn't work, try downloading iTunes again; the process could have been interrupted.

In any case, 7.7 is higher than 7.4, so it shouldn't be a problem.
