Does the ipod touch have texting?

Im thinking about getting the 8gb ipod touch does it hav like aim?

also, do you hav to pay for it?

I dunno if the iPod touch has texting/aim, but I do know that the Apple iPhone does.

it has aim.no money u download it from apps store off itunes

The iPod Touch does have AIM, but it only works when you are in a Wi-Fi connection due to the iPod Touch not having any cellular antennae. Texting can be performed from AIM with the phone numbers as friends, but again only in a Wi-Fi area.

There is no texting, but there is an AIM app which costs a few bucks I think. You can also email.
