Does the jet chip really work, i have a 96 dodge ram 5.2L 318?

The JET chips are a rip off and do nothing. I have read of numerous reports on Dodge Ram's and they do nothing. No HP gains of any sort. My advice would be, don't buy one! Plus, you see them on ebay for like 30 bucks. A computer chip that cheap that promises HP gains, is too good to be true. I have also heard about numerous check engine lights that come on. Good luck.

no it don't, i had one that was in my truck when i bought it and i took it out and gave it away,they don't work,its a gimmick,its suppose to fool the computer but it doesn't,all mine done was cause a check engine light all the time,the guy that i gave mine to has now took it out and gave it to someone else,good luck.
