  1. no but they have dances which are like proms. most middle schools only allow 7th and eighth gaders to dances though

  4. no, its too expensive for middle schoolers, it cost like 150 per person then a dress of a tux, limo/other transportation. those things will add up, thats why we don't have a lot of them, no one would go because they couldn't afford it and thats just sad to say that, plus no one would go... so it would suck... yeah thats why

  5. Depends on the school and the principal's decisions. Some middle/jr. high schools have a semi-formal for 8th graders. I know one school in my city had their's on the Spirit of Norfolk cruise ship, but my middle school didn't.

I recall our jr high hosting dances, and those dances having the *flair* and a touch of the feeling of the later high school proms, but the kids at that jr high age were rarely pairing up as dates, even if they were definitely pairing up, elsewhere.  The kids would <mostly> attend the jr high dances in groups.  In high school, the whole *feel* of the dances were more centered around couples, even though many people opted to go in groups, too.

  14. no, but in my school their was an 8th grade banquet. its like a mini prom. we all wore dresses and went to a hotel and had a buffet and danced. it was fun

  15. No.  The high school I went to had Junior Prom and Senior Ball.  In middle school we had an 8th grade dance at the end of the year that was only for us, but that was it.

  16. No, I am in jr. high and they don't have prom. But they do have dances, but u don't wear formal clothing during this event (only sometimes eg. valentine day dance). It's not till high school. Depends on your school!!! :D

  17. Well, the one I go to has a dance in the 6th grade. But it's not like a prom. Just like a dance party.
