Does the law punish discrimination against fat people ?

Who cares if someone is fat..chubby girls are kind of hot...not as hot as girls with abs..but nothing wrong with a little stomach

No. The law, as far as I know (at least federal law), does not create a protected class that encompasses fat people. While discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, etc. is illegal, discrimination based on clothing size is not.

Edit: I read on a website that Michigan (as well as some other states) has passed weight-based discrimination laws.

Nah.  They have bigger fish to fry.

If someone doesn't like being called fat, in most cases they can do something about it, like lose weight.
