  1. Uxbridge is in zone 6 so you'll be able to use the London Pass to get to and from the centre of town.  If you're ever in doubt go to www.tfl.gov.uk (the website of Transport for London), click on the map section and then select the standard tube map.  It will show you all of the tube stations in London and what zone they're in.

As for Oxbridge, I'm afraid the pass won't work primarily because there is no such place in this country!  Oxbridge is a term used to describe Oxford and Cambridge universities, the two top universities in the country.  However, both are completely different cities - Oxford is an hour north west of London and Cambridge is about 2 hours north east of London.  Needless to say, that makes them far out of the London travel zones.

Both cities can easily be reached by regular overground train services, although this will probably be the most expensive form of travel.  I went to Oxford for university and whenever I needed to come back to London I always used the Oxford Tube which, despite its name, is actually a bus service that runs between London and Oxford about every ten minutes.  I'm not sure how much they charge now, but when I used it it was less than half the price of the trains.  As long as you don't  use it during rush hour (the roads to Oxford can get very busy) it should take about the same time as the train.  I don't have any experience of the bus services to Cambridge but I'm sure that they must have an equivalent.
