Does the mail or UPS or any kind of mail service ship to your old Adress or do they sent it back to sender??

Ok this is the thing i bought some items on ebay and paid them with pay-pal everything went good. When i went to my e-mail and saw my confirmation sent i realized that they were shipped to my old adress... I contacted the sellers and explained what happened i gave them my new adress. Some packages are being delivered by standard postal mail and some are being shipped UPS. My question is will the mail know that i dont live there? And will they sent the item back to the shipper? also one more thing on my confirmation it didnt have my last name only my first name on the shipping confirmationt it just shows....

I already changed my adress in Pay-Pal and contacted the sellers and gave them my new adress. Please Help me i am so nervous that my packages will get lost or something.

Well if the person at your old address does not keep them (against the law to do) and goes to the post office of the UPS store they will send it back the the sender

as long as you did a change of address with the post office and the effective date is before any packages arrive they will forward it to your new house o0r return to sender (depends on how the shipper ships it). though ups, dhl, fed-ex will only deliver to the address they are given on the package, so hopefully who ever is shipping something threw one of them will know your forwarding address before shipping something.
