They attach the word 'gate' to it and interview each other about their pathetic opinions.

Palin's 'trooper-gate' is no 'gate'

The accuser is blogger and rental car executive Andrew Halcro, a Republican-turned-Independent who lost to Palin in the 2006 governor's race.

The man in the middle is Monegan, who says Palin never told him to fire the trooper, but he felt pressure to do so from members of her administration.

Then there's trooper Mike Wooten, who used a Taser on his stepson, Palin's nephew Payton. Wooten has been reprimanded for violating nearly a dozen laws and departmental policies since December 2001.

It's now in the hands of a state-hired investigator working for a Republican-dominated legislative committee that hopes to sort out the mess.

State lawmakers have long said they understand that Monegan and other commissioners serve at will, meaning they can be fired by Palin at any time.

The probe into Palin's involvement if any was ordered by a Republican-dominated state legislative council that includes one of the lawmakers under a federal bribery indictment. And Branchflower, the investigator, is a former Anchorage prosecutor whose wife used to work for Monegan at the Anchorage Police Department.

  1. She fired a State Trooper for not doing his job and abusing his power. That is no scandel, that is how it is supposed to work. maybe the media hasn't seen anything done right in awhile, and forgot what it looks like.

  2. Media manufacture the scandal?

The media did not impregnate Palin's daughter or Sarah Palin herself before they were married.

In fact all of these scandals existed before the media even reported the issues.

So, NO the media did not manufacture anything.

The scandals are a result of poor judgement.

  3. Sorry..can't blame the media for telling the truth. Won't fly this time

  4. Well yes they do. The news has become the news in the past 12-16 years. The facts are unimportant anymore it's the opinion that matters.

That's one reason for the success of Fox they give news reports then they get/give opinion people like that it's not all opinion. CNN has seen this and in the past 8 years has moderated (conservative) up.

NBC and CBS for sure have the worst track records. They just make stuff up and then run with it and then try to cover up the lies that they started with and go forward even after the story is proven bogus.

I remember NBC instigating a kid to put bleach in the chicken at a FOOD LION and then reporting that it was common practice. Also they blew up GM trucks with explosives to show how dangerous the location of their gas tanks were. Surprisingly GM truck are much, much safer when you don't put dynamite in the gas tank!

And who can forget the Democrat party leader of Texas Dan Blather when he typed up documents on Microsoft Office and then claimed they were from the military from the 70's. You know back when they had typewriters instead of word processors? Not only did he stand behind his documents but he continued to run with the story well after the documents were decidedly fake. Then instead of coming out and saying the documents were fake he said they were real they just couldn't find them so someone that remembered recreated them. WTF?

He singlehandedly lost the election for Kerry. Which was fine by me.

  5. No but they look for them. However this  was big new in Alaska before McCain picked her, It is just nobody else cared but now the do.
