  1. Its not about race neccesarily but all the ingrediants, wealth, social status, interesting factors, and obviously if it is rare in the area where the missing person lives.  Please remember that often kids of other races come from inner cities and their family members dont have the means to make plea's to the media, to keep it in the media..wether its b/c of a language barrier, intellect, financial.  The media has to make a living and only choose stories that they can elaborate on and get peoples attention.  Though they have put a few high-profile cases of missing white people on the news, there have been thousands who never made it into the media.  AMW does the same thing...weeds through stories looking for one that has that "it" thing they can do something with.

  2. Yes

  3. only cute missing children and pretty white women...if they were a meth user with teeth missing then they would not get any press at all...money & good looks, that is what makes our world go 'round

  4. I believe it does, also I really hate to go here... but I am!

Why do the people who say race does not matter, never justify why it doesn't. I have seen this situation happen in my local community with White children/women and other races. Yes I believe social and economic factors are part of this condition.

  5. no doubt about it...

  6. Depends on what the majority flavour the country is and if that majority has the power to squeak. Is so, then when a child of that flavour get swiped, there is a lot more squeaking done and it becomes noisy.

  7. Color makes no difference.

  8. Yes and it does have to do with race no matter how some people try to say it doesn't. How many black kids or women who are mssing do you ever see on the front page of newspapers, family being interviewed or having a big story done on CNN? Not many unless Sharpton of Jackson makes a stink for whatever reason. There are black kids murdered everyday and you never hear of it. Sometimes they don't even make the local paper. It's the same for a latino child or any other ethnic child. But when a white child or woman is missing, they get top media coverage, even more than the president nominees. It's the truth whether some people want to admit it or not.
