  1. No.

The megalodon (not megalAdon) became extinct supposedly 1.5 million years ago. Pictures here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Megal... prove that it's nothing like the Great White Shark...I think we'd know if this beast was still around. Eek!

  2. yeah...in movies.

  3. Wouldn't that be the great white in smaller proportions?

  4. NOT IN THE PROPORTIONS YOU IMAGINE.

  5. i am not exactly sure but i believe it does exist and may be whats causing all the bermuda trauma. but interesting question.

  6. No.  It's extinct.

It's just another spelling of Megalodon.

  7. "Some people have suggested that the Megaladon may still survive in the ocean depths. Theoretically, a Megaladon might be able to survive off of giant squids and occasional sperm whales. One problem with that theory, though, is that Megaladon is believed to have lived closer to the surface. The idea of a surviving Megaladon is tantalizing, though unless more substantial evidence surfaces, it seems likely that the shark is dead."
