Does the mercury sable tranny give out at 100,00 miles? ?

we owned a 1990 sable GS and we bought a 2005 sable GS. do they build mercury sables where the tranny give out at 100,00

any car the tranny will give out at 100.000 miles not built to give out i had a 94 taurus and was going stong at 165,000 miles and is the same tranny used in sable the may use cheaper prts to build but they are forced into cause the epa wants mileage to go up and in order tro do that the weight has to be less
