  1. UM DUH  !!!

                   its not "louis" eithhherrr...

andd you just wasted 5 points on that question......

    wooooooooooooooow

  2. Uhhh.....no. You can go back to sleep now.

  3. Uhm do u not see it outside right now?

  4. Yes, the moon does really exist. Where would the "man in the moon " live if it didn't exist?  :)

  5. While I don't believe that space travel has ever been achieved, the question of the moon being real is kind of a philosophic one.  If you follow the traditional school of thought which stems from the famous Cogito Ergo Sum, then, because you **think** it is there, it is.

There is, however the alternate argument that your brain can be fooled.  You see, it makes models for us.  For instance, I enter my den and see low to the ground, wood, rectangle, and my mind says coffee table.  However, if I was frigtened, or in a bad state of mind, I might see low to the ground, wood, rectangle and come up with coffin.

If the model your brain makes is good enough, there is no way to tell the difference, because it would fool all of your senses.

Then again, we might percieve it as being there because we have been told that it was there since we were babies.  We take it for granted.

    Hope that helps!

  6. Yes, it does. Though, Louis Armstrong was never on the moon.

  7. louis armstrong? please go back to history class.  and yes...the moon is real...look outside!

  8. Well, what we see in certain nights is not the "moon", is a piece of cheese. Am I talking ridiculous? So do you. And the astronaut name was Neil, not "Louis". d**n!

P.D.: Erythele: have you been drinking too much whiskey?

  9. where have you been all these years?

of course it is NOT real! so are you!

  10. Thats what i think since ive never seen it.

Another thing that happens to me is that i cant imagine there being other worlds out there and us just being a small part of it since to me earth is really big.

  11. Don't you see it in the sky? Tides on Earth depend on the moon. And by the way, his name is NEIL Armstrong. Louis was a jazz musician! :)

  12. noooooo it doesnt exist they just put a big shiny rock up in the sky  everynite and illuminate to fool you

  13. i didnt know the moon was out....but ive always thougth, yes the moon is in fact real, but was the landing made up is what i thought? i mean it cudve easily alll been a lie to get everyones minds off of war and to distract neihgboring countries so they cud bomb them or something u know?

  14. What's that thing in the sky? Cheese?

    Luis Armstrong played the trumpet.

  15. This is the first conspiracy theory I've ever heard trying to say an astronomical body is fake.  Take conspiracy theories with a grain of salt.  Actually, don't believe them at all.  There's a reason why educated people are the most successful people out there.  There are no secret organizations ruling the world.  The Masons are just a bunch of old businessmen sans any magical powers or powerful secrets making business and political connection.  Louis Armstrong is a famous trumpet player, nicknamed Sachmo.  You've probably heard him sing "What a Wonderful World."  You mean Neil Armstrong, the astronaut.  The purported discrepancies in the moon video are as easily explained as the popular conspiracy.  Stars aren't seen in the video because of the not-so-great film quality (it was 1969, after all).  The flag was never "waving;" it was rippled from storage.  Read this article from good old Wikipedia; it explains a lot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_conspi...  People are all to ready to believe the "establishment" is out to get them when they feel powerless against the intensifying bureaucracy.  Just don't get into these stupid conspiracy theories.

  16. I think that's almost TOO BIG of a conspiracy to make up... sorry but that is RIDICULOUS. Maybe you should watch Myth busters. I hear they crack open ancient myths like king midas...

  17. I can see what you mean a little. Sometimes I look up at night and the moon looks...artificial or something.

Nevertheless I still thinks its real. I could, and probably am, just getting use to seeing something so big and beautiful and a bit foreign. It does affect earth on numerous levels including weather, climate patterns, oceans, animals and even humans (different cultural beliefs and even psychological behavior).

Whether Armstrong went to the moon or not is more questionable and controversial.

    Peace.

  18. If there's no moon, what creates solar eclipses?  But you're right:  Louis Armstrong was never on the moon.  It was NEIL Armstrong who left his footprints there.

  19. what do you mean

  20. Uh.........yah........there is a moon. I believe the conspiracy theory is whether or not we ever landed on it.........

But the Moon exists; it causes the ocean tides. It also causes our behavior to wax and wane with the Moon since our bodies are 60-70% water. That's why people act crazy during a full Moon.
