  3. They did do studies obviously and the women who took it had far lower rates of pregnancy that a control group who took a placebo! So yes, it is very effective. The web site claims that when taken within 24 hours, it would stop pregnancy in 7 out of 8 women who would have become pregnant from that encounter. It is most effective when taken within 24 hours of unprotected s*x, but will work for up to 72 hours. There is a small chance of pregnancy, but it's rare.
