Does the movie Hostel have any real connections?

It seemed to me that this kind of things.... what the movie Hostel tells us really exists. So, i would like to know if there really is something like this in Slovakia or in any other place. If anyone finds anything please send me the link along with your views.

I can't believe still finding these questions ..... LOL ....try to use search here in yahoo answers about the slovakia and the movie hostel.....

and btw there is no true about Slovakia in the movie, even it was filmed in Czech and u can see czech words all over the buildings....

No, there is no connection.only one is ...they used one slovak song..nothing else.We were sooo ashamed when we watched it .I am open minded and travel a lot.You can believe me .Slovakia is pretty safe country, come, you are welcome
