  1. not always. imagine a hideous girl with yellow teeth and thick eybrows named charlize. thats something to think about.

  2. A name is prettier for the ears and the girl may be prettier to the eyes. A beautiful girl can have a recently coined out name rather than a name heard age old. If a beautiful girl has an age old name, one may not form an idea in one's mind that she must be a beautiful girl. But a newly coined name to a not-so-beautiful girl may give an impression that she must be beautiful. But every imagination collapses when the girl is seen in  person. Even an antique name would be beautiful to a girl when she herself is beautiful in look.

  3. What is pretty to you?  It most likely isn't going to be pretty to someone else.  (but, no, I do not believe a name makes a woman pretty)

  4. i think so

  5. No ....a pretty girl would make any name pretty....

  6. a rose by any other name would smell as sweet

  7. NO

  8. It'll make her sound prettier but looks are in the eye of the beholder. Whose to say whats pretty and whats not? :)

  9. maybe, would you date a girl with a really ugly name??

  10. A name cannot affect physical appearance at all, if someone is pretty then they just are! If you know a girl with an old fashioned name who happens to be stunning, eventually you will associate that name with pretty girls rather than it being an ugly name.

  11. It can if you feel it's a beautiful name.  Obviously, there are many, many more important things about a person than their name.  And would the movie star you're most attracted to turn you off if somehow she had a name that sounded ugly to you?  I bet she wouldn't!

  12. It may depend on whether you see her first, or hear/see the name first. Which sounds more attractive of the following pairs, and who would you select for a blind date: Sandy, or Olga. Claire, or Madge. Elaine, or Griselda?

  13. Not really I believe it is more of what is on the inside then a name given to someone at birth

  14. it is an add on..

  15. well, i love beautiful girls with unattractive names, like gladys or edna. something about the contrast that is really a turn on.

  16. I suppose particular girls names have a reputation for being considered more feminine according to the phonetics and number of syllables.  For instance, the unisex name Tony is often given to girls but I find it rather inappropriate considering I know so many men with the same name.

  17. mi name is jasmine, there is no picture ov me, do i sound pretty, now if i was called gurtrude would you imagine me the same?
