  1. I believe that Nikon includes software to download direct, if you use their software.

    I prefer to use a USB 2 Multi Card Reader.

    For about $10-15, I put the reader in the computer, and put the card in the reader,

    I can keep shooting.

    I don't have to worry about messing with software,

    I can download the cards from many cameras, onto many different computers.

    Get a USB 2 reader, they're MUCH quicker.
