  1. i personally like nikon d60 more than d40, but it is too wonderful digital camera

  2. Yes, the nikon d60 does have an autofocus motor, however, it only works when you have an AF-S lens attached. AF lenses won't autofocus, the only lenses you can choose that autofocus are AF-S lenses. So if you plan on autofucusing AF lenses, you need to spend more on the nikon d80, or the nikon d300, which can autofocus any AF lens ( made for a nikon camera )

  3. It doesn't appear that the D60 has an AF motor. It really doesn't matter unless you have a lot of old lenses that don't have the AF motor builtin.

  4. the d60 is supposed to be the replacement of the d40, right? spoil yourself and get the new and better one! if im not mistaken, the d60 has something going on inside that helps fight dust. whatever it is, it is really beneficial.

or, get the d40 and spend the money you save on good lenses.

you know you deserve the d60.

you'll cry the same night you bought the d40 because you know the d60 kicks its a$$.

you'll be wondering "what if i got the d60 instead of this?" all of the time
