  1. South to North and North to South both.

    I looked up Wikipedia,it said:

The White Nile rises in the Great Lakes region of central Africa, with the most distant source in southern Rwanda, and flows north from there through Tanzania, Lake Victoria, Uganda and southern Sudan, while the Blue Nile starts at Lake Tana in Ethiopia flowing into Sudan from the southeast

The course of the Nile in Sudan is distinctive. It flows over 6 groups of cataracts, from the first at Aswan to the sixth at Sabaloka (just north of Khartoum) and then turns to flow southward for a good portion of its course, before again returning to flow north to the sea. This is called the "Great Bend of the Nile."

  2. North to South, from Egypt to Burundi :)

  3. Isn't the Nile's source Lake Victoria in central Africa?  That would mean that the Nile flowed from the south to the north, emptying out in the Mediterranean Sea.

  4. The Nile River flows from south to north from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean

  5. it flows in both directions...

  6. It depends on which direction you are rowing your boat.  If you are rowing it Northward, then Nile flows south, otherwise it flows north.  Also, the direction of wind affects it too.  Have you ever wondered why the water always rotate clockwise when you drain the sink, or flush the toilet?

  7. The Nile flows South to North - its sources are the White and Blue Nile, in Uganda and Ethiopia, respectively. The Nile empties into the Mediterranean.

  8. Nile river flows from south to north.

It originates in deep central Africa, known as White Nile.

It flows north and joins another river coming from Ethopia (called Blue Nile) to form Nile river. It flows into Egypt and joins the sea there.
