Does the notion "arrow of the time" exist in physics?

Could this mean f.e.visualizing the moment before something happen and using arrow principle/every next moment is connectedto previous by its opposite rotation?/ to see/predict an event?

  1. the arrow of time applies to nearly all feilds of physics.  Newtonian and Relativistic (for the most part) physics both rely on the arrow of time for causaility.  However there are some intperetations of quantum mechanics which place causality in the atemporal range where since photons travel at the speed of light, they dont experience time the way we do, and there is a sort of "handshake" between the release and absorbtion of a photon from outside the temporal realm, and the only way it can be released is if it already knows where its going and how it will be absorbed.  this results from the two mathematical viable solutions to Maxwells equations one in which photons emit outward through forward time and one in which photons radiate inward toward the "source of emission" through BACKWARD time.  the backward solutions were thrown out when they were discovered because they didnt fit into the framework of understand at the time, but we are in a more educated position these days.  in order for an event to happen, the emission of the photon sends advance waves (forward) through time from the place of emission to the place of absorbtion, and once they reach there, the absorbtion sends its transgressive waves (backward) through time to the place of emission and they arive at the moment it would be emitted.  information about the arival of the photon at its eventual destination is then available to the photon upon its emission.  this results in a reality where every point in the universe is simulteniously connected to every other point through these advance and transgressive waves in time.  the arrow of time does not apply in the same way to these light speed particles in this framework of understanding.  however, for all us beings who move at sublight speeds... we still percieve and understand the arrow of time moving forward.  however, our brains rely heavily on electromagnetic phenomenon to process our sensory information and create our own thoughts... you do the extrapolation

  2. i think it can be realted to the Second law of thermodynamics, about entropy ;The total entropy of any isolated thermodynamic system tends to increase over time, approaching a maximum value.
