  1. Some realise in years what others take a life time to understand.

Some experience more of true worth in one day than during the course of the rest of their days.

I think we should always embrace every moment and every experience in our life regardless of it's length.

  2. I think you're right.  People remember their lives via the events they experience, not the dates which have passes by.

  3. The Quality of ones life or what one puts into the quality of their life ? Waiting for quality to be served on a silver platter may be a long wait, but pursuing it in ones's life makes life worth living. It is often interesting to see a culmative list of what a person spends time doing in their life. Time spent waiting for someone. Time spent sleeping. I have heard the average person spends three years of their life waiting for someone. A ride, a bus, in a line-up at a cashier. "Ouch"!

  4. I'm pretty sure the amount of time lived is, in fact, the definition of the "length of one's life".

  5. number of days lived in peace with yourself definitely add a number of peacefull moments and experiences to the leight of one's life .

  6. I agree with you. Life should be meaningful and it should not be about breath we take but moments that take our breath away

  7. This is a good question!

Their are so many people who take life for granted!

yet not many people who try to live their lives to the fullest!

we as people should learn to appreciate the small moments in our lives that brings us so much joy, these are the things that causes us to look forward to the rest of our lives, how ever long that may be!!!

  8. YES - life should be judged on the quality and value! A life of more than 100 years does not mean it was any more enjoyable and pleasurable than a life that only lasted 50 years!

I think one gains value and quality as they spend time finding the person they are, in which to share with those that they love.  When someone possesses this quality, they have an inner beauty that shines so bright and seen by so many others.

Unfortunately, we do not know that "length" of time for our lives. So we much get busy now doing the things we love, and spending time with people who have meaning in our life.

  9. Life is when your CNS is doing it's job.  It's when there's a heartbeat, there's respiration and perspiration, when biochemical reactions take place.

So mathemathically speaking the answer to your question is yes ...

  10. No.  I had a head injury.  It took me twenty years to recover from that injury.  I read a geat deal, but those days simply didn't exist for me.  I am fully recovered now and I feel bitter.  I simply cannot berlieve the level of hostility I see between people.  It's all coming from the TV.  The TV does not directly generate crime or conflict, but it DOES influence people to behave in ways that will create crime & conflict.

  11. I think that we only really "live" for about one quarter of our lives. The amount of time we learn new things, experience love, happiness and surprise is minimal compared with the amount of time we actually exist. To live special moments even for a shortish life has got to be better than living a long dull boring existence. The main thing is that we mainly live in the present and dont worry too much about the past and future,, appreciate each day as we live it. Of course, we still have to be cautious sometimes, but also take the odd gamble in life too,, after all, we only live once...

  12. i have no idea. but there is a website called www.deathclock.com and it tells you have long you have to live (its probably fake,, but its fun to do)

  13. I think the trick is to focus on QUALITY rather then mere QUANITY...with that being done, each added day with the 'Qualities' you mention above... become more icing on the cake for enjoyment for self and others you choose to let into your life...

  14. Time is INFINITE .We do not forget the friends and family members who departed us.

  15. You mean, 'Does the number of days lived really give an idea of the VALUE of one's life?'
