  1. No.  Only YOU are responsible for the grades you get.


  2. to an extent perhaps, but probably not, i guess it depends what class it is, what kind of students there are, how hard the professor is and what his grading system is.  there are some professors who give out a certain percentage of As, B+s, etc then fail whoever is left over.  others use a curve, other go on straight grade.  if you are in a big class with a professor who uses a fairly rigid curve, then you have to outperform everyone.  if the professor uses straight grading to determine grades, then it is all on you, either way, if you study hard, do your homework and get to know the teacher well, you will likely do well

  3. its not about the quantity of students.....quality matters
