Does the option of running a car off natural gas raise its value?

I have a 1997 ford taurus and it has the option to run off natural gas (cng) and regular gas does that raise its value?

  1. Just list if for sale in Utah or Oklahoma where a gallon equiv. is less than $1.00 / gal. There are service stations availabe there as well.  It should sell very quickly and yes it is worth more than without the system!

  3. I think it would. It gives the owner another option for fueling methods, and natural gas is a lot cheaper. And the people that said there aren't any fueling stations are odd ones, a lot of homes run on natural gas and you can buy a dispenser to hook up to your home tank.

    How did you get a car that can run on natural gas? I've been looking for one.

  4. Id think not, only because there arent many places to fill up a natural gas car (assuming this is in America)

  5. no....i dont think so there arent many places you could get fuel 4 it at least not 4 a long time in the future it make be very valuable

    but i dont think were going that way as far as fuel goes were probably going solar and going with ethanol (using food mostly corn as fuel)
