Does the orange tip on an airsoft gun affect the speed?

also, can u use metal bbs in an airsoft gun. Is there any way to mod an airsoft gun to kill a small animal

no it does not have any affect on the speed, but i would keep it on if i were you, mine fell off and i was walking with it on the street, a police pulled me over cuz he thought it was a real gun

No the orange tip only affects the style of the airsoft gun. No, don;t try using metal bbs in  airsoft guns. Airsofts use plastic pellets, hence the name Air Soft. BBs guns use metal bbs.

The metal BBs are so heavy that they would kill your speed to the point that you might as well just throw them. Get a pellet gun, because I doubt there is any way you could modify an airsoft gun to shoot that hard. Besides, the BB's aren't the best projectile for penetration of flesh.

No, orange tip does not effect speed. Get this gun for pest control

Shoots 690 fps which is around 470 mph, meant for small & large pest control and target shooting.

no. its just there to distinguish from a real gun. i dont kno about the second one but a pellet gun or c02 bb gun could kill a small animal
