yes any activity that features data being sent or recieved (ex: text message, ringtones calls) cost minutes out of your balance. go with t-mobile for calls, there cheaper. or go with virgin mobile for texting cuz their prepaid texting rates are cheap!

yes!! you get charged for air-time used.......period!!

incoming and outgoing on all pre-paid unless you have a plan and/or contract!!

yes, on a trac phone there is a charge for everything that you do..a better plan is Verizon inpulse pre paid--you have unlimited verizon to verizon cell phone calls and are not charged on days that you do not use the phone
