Does the paranormal shows on Tv really show us whats happening?

  1. No.  TV shows are highly edited and have to take into account ratings, time constraints, attracting advertisers, and market share (attract an audience).

    I would not say they are hiding activity so much as there isn't anything spectacular to show. This is why you see a persons scared face and not the camera pointed out what is scaring him or her. The camera may show nothing there.

    This doesn't mean that the person isn't seeing something or picking up information (via ESP or something) from the environment. (Of course the skeptics argue that he/she is seeing something like a spider move and this scares them. If the camera actually showed the spider (or even nothing) people wouldn't have anything to argue over so....)

    It does mean that interviewing him about what he saw is not as good for TV as his scared face.

    I do hope that TV shows at least spark an interest in people and encourages them to do further research.

  2. They arent hiding anything from us.  Shows like Ghost Hunters are 100% real.

  3. they have people hiding under tables and such to throw stuff around to make it look like paranormal
