Does the preseason in Superstar mode in Madden matter?

Madden 08. Can I just sim the entire preseason and training camp and it wont effect anything?

you can, but it affects whether or not ur guy will start. but if hes already the best on the depth chart, then it wont matter

if ure playing on rookie level it doesnt matter.. The harder modes ure having to battle up the depth cart it helps alot..

The games andinterviews are the only things that matter. Sim the preseason. You can get points if you play well though...

If ur already the best in ur position then yah. If ur not then play the preseason 2 battle for the top spot
