  2. Negative. THAT is decided among the Justices themselves.

  3. Sure. Bush has been using the AUMF as carte blanche to do whatever he pleases for the last 7 years, so who's going to stop him now if he wants to do a little supreme tinkerin'?

  4. no powers to the president to interfere in any basic action with judiciary.  He can write the chief justice a letter.  This is in india, and i don't know about other countries.

  5. No.  The appointments are for life.  Including the Chief Justice.
