  1. Of course it would.  Regardless of anything else, it is public funds funnelled through the Government which pays the salaries and fills the coffers that make the queen and her group as rich as they are.  One way or another, it's all public money that they pay for everything with.


  2. Of course it does, it's for the good of the country to promote good relations between England and France, so why should the queen have to pay?

  4. If we have family and/or freinds round for a meal we pay for it, when we visit theirs they pay so why should'nt those bone idle good for nothing scroungers do the same? have they no self respect

  5. Yes and no. It IS public funds, but entertainment expense is included in the President's wage package. He actually gets a larger entertainment allowance than he does salary.

    It's probably worse now than it has ever been.
