  1. I'm no expert on propane, however I did some work in a foundry years ago, and they were converting natural gas to propane. So, if propane is made from natural gas, i suppose they would follow in pricing. Propane has a higher btu output than natural gas, that's why the foundry wanted the conversion.

  2. Similar in that any gas or heating product is tied to the cost of pertroleum.  I have natural (city) gas and I know it's going to be much higher this winter, so tank up soon.

  3. Fill up now because in North Carolina it is already almost up to $2.89 too.  And yes, it does go up with gas going up.  It sure isn't going down.

  4. Dang rango where do you live? I just bought 100 gallons @ $2.85 a gallon. Yes it is a petroleum product so it will go up and down with the price of gas. I remember in the 70's I had a liquefied fuel system on my pick up and was paying $.15 a gallon for it.

Fill up in the fall it always gos up.

  5. Not sure on propane but with gas and commodities going up it wouldn't hurt to get it filled. Food will go alot higher when the crops don't come in from the flooding this year too. And the demand for propane is also sure to rise as it gets used moreso.
