Does the price of the playstation 3 go down this month

I heard a rumor that the price of the Playstation 3 will go down at the end of this month. Is that true?

No, it won't. However 40GB will be phased out and replaced with 80GB (same features as 40GB). It'll be sold at 40GB price - 400$.

no price drops..the 40 gig is just getting 40 more gigs

im not sure about that but the 40 gb is getting an extra 40 to it. so an 80 gb  (no BC or card slots) will be sold for 400 in september
