Does the ps3 have in game music yet?

you know, like you can listen to music while your playing a game while still hearing sound effects

If you install firmware 2.4 yes you'll have that feature available. Keep in mind that not all games take advantage of this feature and currently there are only a few games that allow you to listen to your own music while playing.  The link below shows a short video on 2.4 (including custom sountrack).

Nope, games still need to be patched.

Resistance 2 and Bioshock will have them.

Warhawk gets them on teh 27th with the 1.50 patch.

Pixeljunk Eden has them if you complete all teh gardens.

itll be an update later this year
