Does the ps3 warranty cover theft?

just wondering....or is there any way i could cover it, i'm in college so I can't get home owners insurance, anything else I could do?

Your parents' homeowners policy would cover it, subject to the deductible.

Most likely, the warranty doesn't cover theft - the PS2 warranty only covers against "defects in workmanship" so I"d guess that the PS3 is the same.

But hey, you're in college - you can go to the website and READ the warranty to be sure.
