  1. A crown for her enthronement (Westminster Abbey, not the other place)

A crown for the state opening of parliament.

Tiaras for state banquets and balls.

A nice hat for opening toilet blocks and launching ships and Royal Ascot.

A head scarf for walking the corgies.

    A helmet for horse-riding

A tin hat for shooting practise

    A hairnet in bed

She also has assorted army headgear and a rainhat which she never wears as there is always an umbrella to hand...

  2. Depends on the ocassion...for big State affairs a crown but for dinner parties and balls a tiara.

  3. Normally the queen wears neither but on special outings she will wear her tiara and for very special occasions like having one of her big dinners or visiting another country she will wear a crown

  4. it dependends on what event is being functioned such as a state dinner more likley a tiara compared to the corination she would wear a crown

  5. She wears both, depending on the occassion. For the Opening of Parliament, the crown is worn. She wore Saint Edward's Crown during the coronation. For Parliament, she wears the Imperial State Crown. The crowns are part of the Crown Jewels.

For state dinners and more social affairs, the Queen wears one of her tiaras. She has many to choose from,Queen Aleaxandra's  Kokoshnik Tiara being a familiar one. There is a thread dedicated to the Queen's jewels at http://www.theroyalforums.com/f20/queen-...

  6. Crown for events such as State Opening of Parliament Tiara for formal occasions such as banquets

  7. well she doesnt wear one to breakfast but she does for formal events!

  8. when she has an important event, not like a party doh it would be to formal

  9. good question..... (there.., have a star...,)........... because the Queen only wears her Crown once a year........ yet traditionally the Tiara is for princess's.......... mmmmmm

  10. She usually wears hats.

  11. The Queen wears the Imperial State Crown once a year, for opening Parliament. The other crown, St Edward's Crown, which is very heavy, is used only for coronations.

For state events she, together with other royal ladies, wears a tiara.

  12. Depends on the event and her own oppinion of what would best but I dont think she is up to a lot of crown wearing at her age (they are realy heavy).

  13. normally she wears a hat or scarf, its only on state affairs that she would wear her crown.

  14. she wears the head gear as appropriate ...........if the state occasion requires the wearing of the crown  she does ..........tiara for dinners as required...........hat for meet and greet ............scarf for at badminton or polo if she feels she needs to   or nothing on her head ..............she knows when to wear what and never goes for bling...........(even if she has sufficient to do so ............she's not a rap star!!!)

  15. She wears both (obviously not together) or neither depending on the occasion/event. She has to wear a crown during the State Opening of Parliament and may wear a tiara for a State dinner but will dress appropriately for any occasion (let's be honest a crown at the theatre would look pretty silly).

  16. Either or neither but she looks kinda raunchy in lycra xx

  17. crown
