Question:

Does the "chance" really exist in this world? Stochastic VS Determined world.?

I tried to find chance but didn't succeed. All things that happen happen because they are determined, like, if you throw dice, it depends on the power you use, on the surface they fall and many other subjects. If you was able to throw them twice the EXACT same way, they would fall down the same way. This is not possible, because there are no two identical atoms in the world, and that's even why we can't determine the future, even though it is determined.

Also, the theory of particles moving constantly and at random does really say that we can't predict their moves, not that they truly move by chance. If it was so, all the matter would disappear in chaos.

Does the chance really exist or do we live in a deterministic world? Did YOU find the chance?

  1. Strictly considered, there is no "chance."  All is causation, even decoherence at the quantum wave level.

"Random" movement is a superficial perspective.  From the "point of view" of a particular atom, movement is causal.

The great MIT physicist, Philip Morrison, writes in his "Ring of Truth" that he believes that individual atoms do indeed have individual histories and even vibrations, based on their "experiences."  He notes that we humans simply cannot measure or detect them.

This is similar to Dr. William A. Tiller's work, "Psychoenergetic Science," http://www.tiller.org in which he documents human biofield intention as making significant changes in quantum systems.

  2. The world is not deterministic.

    Its probabilistic.

    See Schrodinger cat.

Uncertainty is an intrinsic quality of the universe at microscopic scales.

    Einstein said

"God does not play dice with the univers"

    Scientific observation states

"Sorry Einstein, your wrong this time"

Sub atomic matter exists as waves of probability that decohere upon interaction with one another.

  3. to stick with your example of the dice...

chance would come into play because you personally do not know the specific calculations it would take to get the dice to roll how u want them to

chance is simply a way to describe the unknown but in actuality is not chance but instead an unavoidable reaction to whatever action was taken

  4. I know there is no chance because God either allows or decides what happens to everything. Although He knows it all he still makes the decisions. He gives us free will but He already knows what will happen to us.

    God Bless
