Does the "other women"always end up getting hurt when she gets involved a married man?

I was involved with a married man.We were platonic friends at first.I started falling for him then he later told me that he was married.I didn't stop seeing him since we were just friends.

We ended up kissing he began distancing himself from me. He is now acting as if I don't exist.

However, I thought I would be okay but I am so hurt and heartbroken.

Does it always end this way?

its easy for other people to say move on but until your in a situation like that you dont know what your going to do, i believe things happen in life for a reason and i believe you were meant to kiss him and maybe in the future you will only get to find out why, its also easy for people to brand the other woman with some horrible names there is alot of other woman who are really nice decent people who have found there self in a situation and there olny crime is they fell in love.
