  1. I'm South-African and my guess (before i read everything) was: somewhere close to Scotland.

  2. I've never come across foreign (meaning out of UK itself) people that knows where it is!

most I've spoken to know of Cardiff (capital city) and Newport (other big city) but they don't know where Wales itself is!

if the person knows anything about History they'll know of Wales from it's coal (made famous by the navy saying it's "the best") other than that no!!

  3. The english have done a really good job of wiping us off the map I'm afraid. London is full of tourist gift shop stuff with the flag of the UK and England written on them for example.

  4. Yeh I find that realy ignorant! Its the same for scotland too... many people don't know where scotland is, and a lot of people think England means the whole of the UK!

  5. I think those know, who are interested in soccer, finding out that the qualification process for the European/World Championships shows other countries besides England on the British island.

  6. I know where Wales is and I'm from America..

I kinda think it's annoying too when people think of Britain, and they just think that means England, when in fact, it refers to Wales, Scotland, England, and Northern Ireland.
