Does the seat you sit in on a roller coaster really matter? I see people waiting for the first or last car?

I see people waiting for the first or last car of the coaster as the ride goes faster if you sit in one of those seats.

there is most definitely a difference when it comes to wooden roller coasters. If you sit in the back, it is certainly a rush. rather than sitting up front. in the back you get whipped over the drop giving you an extreme floaty feeling. I personally like sitting in the front of very tall coasters because i don't like the huge shock value of not knowing what's coming. As for looping coasters, there is never a bad seat in my opinion. if you wanna feel like u are truly flying at top speed, opt for the back. if you dont want anything between you and the track, sit up front. experiment and see what u like.

Yes there is actually a difference if you sit in the front the air will impact you tthe most

and if you sit in the back you willhave and air impact on your tummy like butterflies

but if you sit in bettween there will be a calm ride well depends if you are iding like the hulk it will never be calm hahahaha hope this helps

Front. Nothing is blocking your view and you feel like you have the coaster all to yourself so it feels like you are getting special treatment. It really gets my adrenaline pumping, especially on great coasters like Millennium Force at Cedar Point, and the Beast at Kings Island.

It depends on what kind of roller coaster you're riding. Some people like to sit in the back because it could be more bumpy, or in the front so that they can see the track in front of them.

yes there is a difference, most people who sit in the front really want the thrill of the ride.....I really don't know why people would sit in the back of a roller coaster because it is so rough and crazy...thats what I learned from sitting in the back of the Gemini at Cedar Point.

yes yes and yes front you can see everything so it feels like you will fall out  and back jerks you more..soo front is the best place to sit
