Yes they do not and I think because I guess a lot that the seeds is seeds what turns the rice grains into produce what it is.  Get it?

The seed is the rice grain, although technically the rice grain is a fruit, not just a seed. What we eat as rice has had part of the seed/fruit removed, particularly the outer skin of the seed called the seed coat.
