    But what is the required size? You would have to talk to the gas company to determine that.

  2. Why not tell us please the pipe size that you have to install your dryer to?

  3. It can, depending on the size of the pipe and the length of the run. A plumber could tell you this for certain, but in my experience it's not likely.

    A dryer is a relative lightweight at about 22,000 BTU/h, which is about 1/4 that of a furnace or 1/10 to 1/20 of a swimming pool heater.
